Impact & Responsibility
Let’s be honest—so long as we make products, we won’t ever be truly sustainable in today’s industry. Our promise is to design, develop, and operate in ways that minimise our impact on the environment. And inject some good where we can.
Sportswear is one of the worst offenders, primarily due to its reliance on polymer-based fabrics. The performance benefits of these materials are still unmatched. We hope better alternatives emerge—and when they do, we’ll be all over them.
The origins of fabrics and components, what they’re made of, and how they’re produced all play a huge role in responsibility. Equally important is what happens to those materials when they’re no longer needed. As you may be aware, this can often be a minefield. We will be sharing our learnings around this in the weeks and months to come.
As a new brand, there is no question that we entered a broken system. One that we’re determined to impact and improve. Sourcing recycled, natural, long-lasting, and fit-for-purpose fabrics is where we begin. These materials come at a higher cost, but it’s one we’re willing to pay to shift the needle on the demand.
We’re driven to make the best choices possible and grow responsibly. We aim to become certified in our sustainable practices as our volumes and time in the market allow.
In the future, we're planning to launch a trade-in platform to keep garments in circulation longer, helping to make less waste by extending the life of what’s already made. Keep your eyes peeled for this.
We believe in making high-performance products that last. We believe in buying smarter and buying less. It may sound counterintuitive for a brand, but we stand by it.
Our goal is to empower you to explore the wilderness and collectively protect the spaces that nourish us all.
