Packaging
Packaging is a large contributor to environmental decline when you factor in pollution, resource depletion, and the accumulation of waste in landfills and oceans.
We are committed to finding responsible solutions with the least environmental impact possible. For us, this means choosing materials with renewable origins, low-impact production, and a harmless end-of-life.
We made a choice to, where possible, steer away from using any type of plastic in our packaging. While many bio-based and biodegradable plastic options exist, they often come from virgin oil sources, have a high production impact, or don’t biodegrade in standard landfill scenarios. Let’s be honest—most consumer plastics end up in landfills, if not in the oceans. Not everyone has a compost heap in their backyard.
Our mission was, and will remain, to find a solution made from renewable sources, with a low environmental impact during production, and a 100% harm-free end of life, regardless of how it is disposed of.
Garment bags
Our garment bags are made from Paptic Perdix®, a material developed by our partners at Paptic®. This high-quality, FSC® certified wood-based material is stronger and offers more protection than paper. It has a soft organic feel, is sturdy, reusable, and 100% recyclable with cardboard.
You can reuse these garment bags to keep your running gear separate for travel or to keep your favourite outfits together for race day or multi-day adventures.
Labels
Our garment labels are made from a premium uncoated, tinted adhesive stock in a light brown/off-white shade called Okapi Face from Print.Work.
This FSC® certified material is composed of 80% recycled content and 20% virgin fibres, with a kraft paper backing. The adhesive used is a permanent, water-based acrylic.
Mailer bags
Our mailer bags are crafted from durable 160gsm kraft paper, made with 100% recycled materials certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). They are fully recyclable and home-compostable, breaking down completely within 180 days. From noissue
